Relay Express: Services
Relay Express developed a year-round 24/7 express package delivery service. As our relationships with our customers grew and they began contracting courier services more and more, we learned ways to meet specific delivery needs. In order to improve efficiency, Relay Express started doing same day delivery services and immediate delivery services. For our customers who felt time wasn’t an issue, we incorporated a delay service. We also developed warehousing and cross docking services.

Exclusive Driver Program
Our Exclusive Driver Program is designed for companies that may have a need to hire a full or part time delivery driver. Our program will reduce internal time and money spent on employees, and eliminates the cost and problems of company owned vehicles. In addition our exclusive driver program allows your company to manage cost specific delivery records. Your cost is specific to when the truck is moving, not when it is parked at night, over the weekend, etc. Other advantages to consider:

Relay Express will provide you with a vehicle and a uniformed driver that is knowledgeable and experienced in making deliveries. This driver may also be certified to operate a forklift to facilitate staging, loading, and unloading of the vehicle. When your driver is between deliveries, they can also help out with any light duties that may need to be performed.
Benefits Of An Exclusive Driver Program
Two drivers will be trained and if requested work alternating days. This allows for continuous coverage from a driver experienced with your specific needs. Costs associated with transportation distribution are specific to the hours in use. If the regular driver we supply should experience a mechanical breakdown, we will assign another driver immediately from our fleet of On-demand drivers and vehicles. |

Relay Express offers this on-demand service for those customers who just can't wait! By providing a 90-minute service, it is no problem for us to get your package to its destination…NOW!
30 Minute Pick Up
When calling Relay Express, it is our goal to have all immediate orders picked up within 20-30 minutes of the time the order is placed.
90 Minute Delivery
From the time your order is entered into our computer, Relay Express will have your delivery to its local destination in 90 minutes or less!
Zip-Code to Zip-Code Rates
When using the immediate service, our delivery rates are designed to be very cost-effective. Multiple deliveries from the same customer, utilizing the same vehicle, will be rated zip-code to zip-code.

No “per piece pricing.” Relay Express allows multiple pieces up to 300 pounds at no additional charge! |
Same Day Delivery Service
Relay Express can deliver your time sensitive documents, packages, or machine parts through our immediate, non-stop express package delivery service. Dayton, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio are the cities that this service is most effective and efficient. However, if time is not the main issue, use our Express Service (XPS), your package will be delivered the same day, with a substantial savings—guaranteed!

Deliveries placed by 11:00 a.m., will be delivered the same day by 5:00 p.m. |

Deliveries placed after 11:00 a.m., will be delivered the

Relay Express will deliver up to 8 pieces or 400 pounds
for one price. There is a $2.00 charge per piece over 8, and
a $.05 charge per lb over 400 lbs. |
Current fuel surcharge will be applied.
Relay Express' expedited freight service will
handle all
deliveries outside of 20 miles. |
Warehouse Services
Relay Express offers Logistical Warehousing as part of additional express package delivery services. We can inventory your high turnover materials and deliver them on your command. You save time as well as the cost of warehouse space, staffing, and handling.

Delivery Savings
Rates represent up to a 30% discount when compared to our on-demand immediate rates.
4 hour service
Deliveries picked up and completed within 4 hours of original call.
Must be called in by 1:00 p.m.
1 to 4 standard packages
Packages must be reasonable in dimension to be eligible for the Delay Service
Total weight cannot exceed 100 lbs.
Restricted to high volume zip codes that Relay Express services daily
Greater Cincinnati & Greater Dayton
*Specific rate sheets with applicable zip codes available upon request.
Delay Service does not apply to Box truck or Flatbed deliveries
